Find Out About Friday - How to use your Elegant Butterfly Punch to make a Halloween Bat

Today I have a quick tip for you showing how you can use your Stampin' Up! Elegant Butterfly Punch to make a Bat to decorate your Halloween Treats.  I love to make little treats to hand out at Halloween but since it is not celebrated that much round here I did not wanted to make something with the supplies I already had.  I have used the Bats I made with my trusty Elegant Butterfly Punch to decorate this box.

Here is how I did it.  I started with a piece of 6x6 card and used my Gift Box Punch Board to make a box.  The Gift Box Punch Board is so easy to use.  I then stamped 'Boo to You' from the Good Greetings Stamp Set on the four sides and assembled my box.

Next I made my Bats.  I punched the Elegant Butterfly in Basic Black card and then attached it to some scrap card using Tombow Glue - if you let this glue dry it becomes a repositional adhesive ideal for this kind of thing.  I then fed this back into the punch and cut the bottom of the butterfly shape off.

All that was left to do was to attach them to my box and the job was done!  I hope you have found this tutorial useful and if you would like to purchase any (or all!) of the items I have used you can do so by visiting my store here or by clicking on them above to go straight to them.
